Configuration

The configuration of the Achteraf betalen by ABN AMRO plugin is split into 3 parts.

Installation : Setting your checkout environment and API credentials
Configuration : Controls if the plugin is enabled on your checkout as well as optional UI fields
Search : Enabling the ABN AMRO address autocomplete

Installation

Navigate to your WordPress admin panel to the plugin plage. This can be found at <your_wp_site>/wp-admin/plugin-install.php. Once here you can click on the upload plugin button and choose the plugin zip file you wish to install.

Configuration

Once installed, go to your installed plugins page where you will see a new plugin with the title of 'Achteraf betalen van ABN AMRO'. Proceed to activate the plugin and then click into its settings.

The plugin settings will take you to the WooCommerce payments tab. Over here you can configure the use of the plugin and turn it on or off.

To show the plugin at checkout, simply check the enable radio, set your desired title for how you want the payment option to be presented at checkout and set the API url (this will be provided to you).

The final step in getting the plugin live is to input your API key and username. These credentials will be passed to you once you are fully onboarded and ready to go-live. Once inputted in their respective rows, make sure to click the 'Save changes' button to ensure the plugin has been properly set-up.

If you want to explore more of the customisation options you have with showing the plugin at your checkout, feel free to explore the 'Checkout options' and toggle on or off any features you choose. Once again make sure to save your changes for them to take effect.

If you have configured your API credentials correctly, upon saving you will see a notification validating your plugin access.

Search

By default, once the plugin is activated, the company search and auto-complete will be enabled. But if you do find that the company search is not turned on, please go to the 'Auto-complete settings' and ensure both checkboxes are enabled.

Once this is done, your plugin is ready for use at checkout.
